Healthcare & Medical Volunteers

At Sanders Hand Ghana, we offer volunteers and interns the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and make a meaningful impact in the healthcare and public health sectors. Through our collaborations with the Ghana Health Service (Kasoa) and private healthcare institutions, we provide diverse opportunities to contribute to healthcare delivery, research, and public health initiatives.

Our healthcare volunteer program allows you to work alongside medical professionals in various specialties, including general healthcare, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, mental health, HIV/AIDS, and maternal care, among others. Volunteers will gain practical experience, assist in daily healthcare services, and contribute to improving healthcare access for underserved communities in Ghana.

In addition to medical practice, our public health program offers volunteers the chance to engage in community health initiatives, focusing on health education, disease prevention, and public health research. Volunteers in this area work on projects such as malaria education campaigns in local schools, research on healthcare needs in the Kasoa municipality, and promoting awareness of communicable and non-communicable diseases.

Whether you are a healthcare student, professional, or public health enthusiast, our program provides an invaluable opportunity to apply your skills and gain a deeper understanding of healthcare challenges in a developing country.
