At Sanders Hand Ghana, our program fees support the coordination, supervision, accommodation arrangements, and overall sustainability of our volunteer and internship initiatives. These fees ensure that volunteers receive structured support while contributing meaningfully to our programs.

What Your Program Fee Includes
Your program fee covers the following:
- Airport pickup upon arrival
- Accommodation (Host Family or Volunteer House)
- Daily breakfast
- Guided cultural trips
- Cape Coast Castle
- Kakum National Park
- Official Sanders Hand Ghana T-shirt
- Program orientation
- Placement coordination
- Supervision and mentorship
- 24/7 in-country support
- Certificate of Completion
What Is Not Included
Volunteers are responsible for:
- Visa and visa processing fees
- International flight tickets
- Travel and health insurance (mandatory)
- Vaccinations and medical clearances
- Lunch and dinner meals
- Personal expenses (laundry, SIM card, data, shopping, etc.)
- Local transportation outside program activities
- Additional tourism or personal travel
- Police clearance/background checks (if required)
- Medical expenses during your stay
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance before arrival.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Our refund policy is as follows:
Application Fee
The $100 application fee is non-refundable, as it covers administrative and placement processing costs.
Program Fee Refunds
- Cancellation 30+ days before arrival: 75% refund of program fee
- Cancellation 15–29 days before arrival: 50% refund
- Cancellation less than 14 days before arrival: No refund
Once the program has started, program fees are non-refundable.
Refunds are processed within 30 days of written cancellation notice.
