As a Development Volunteer, you will support the organization in areas such as organizational capacity building, fundraising, strategic initiatives, and public relations. By assisting with various development projects, you will directly contribute to improving our ability to serve vulnerable populations and promote sustainable community development.
Key Responsibilities
As a Development Volunteer, your tasks may vary depending on the current needs of the organization, but common responsibilities may include
- Grant Writing: Research and apply for funding opportunities to support specific programs and initiatives, including writing compelling grant proposals and assisting with reporting for grant compliance.
- Fundraising & Resource Mobilization: Support the creation and execution of fundraising strategies, such as organizing events, campaigns, and partnerships with potential donors and sponsors.
- Strategic Planning: Assist with long-term planning to help the organization achieve its goals, including market research, program evaluation, and data collection
- Marketing & Communications: Support the development of marketing materials, social media campaigns, newsletters, and other communications tools to increase awareness of Sanders Hand Ghana’s programs and initiatives.
- Website & Digital Management: Contribute to website content management, assist with SEO (Search Engine Optimization), and ensure that digital platforms align with the organization’s goals and values.
